Natural Resources
The Philippines is blessed to be enriched with significant mineral deposits due to the volcanic formation of the islands and LBRC has been an active participant in the mining industry.
LBRC has investments in several gold, copper and iron ore mines in Masbate, Bicol, and Cagayan Valley. These mining claims are in various stages of the permitting process including MPSA (Mineral Production Sharing Agreement).
LBRC also has an investment position in an operating quarry for aggregates and sand in Subic Bay.
Energy / Environment
The Philippines has among the highest energy prices in Asia and is struggling to balance environmental issues with economic growth. LBRC is an active participant in establishing power production facilities that have low environmental impact and is introducing foreign technologies for environmental management.
LBRC has Memorandum of Agreements with three Local Government Units for up to 1,840 Megawatts of power generation utilizing Waste to Energy technology. Moreover the principals of LBRC are part of establishing up to 100 Megawatts of renewable energy through hydro power in the provinces of Quezon, Bukidnon, Laguna, and Camarines Sur.
LBRC also represents state of the art environmental technologies for waste water treatment, biomass and solar power.

LBRC’s principals have a 20 year track record in the IT venture capital industry. LBRC has already successfully transacted and attracted Silicon Valley and international VC funds to a local Filipino startup.
LBRC is investing and taking principal management positions in a local media company, mobile importation and distribution, fintech, and LED systems.

LBRC is the majority shareholder of a major automotive brand distributor in the Philippines and has principal management positions in the company.
LBRC is also engaged in Local Government Unit sustainability and livelihood programs where LBRC will invest and introduce international Agricultural and Aquaculture technologies and partners.

CHAIRMAN AND FOUNDER
a 25 year veteran in the financial industry. He started his career on Wall Street as an investment banker at Smith Barney and Bankers Trust, then ran several venture capital funds and operations, including BT Ventures, Alcatel Ventures, and SK Telecom’s VC funds. Over the past 15 years, he has been primarily investing in alternative energy, IT and natural resource projects in Asia. Mr. Lee has a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and a master’s degree from Harvard University.
MARINEL A. BARQUIN

Ms. Barquin is the Founder of MBSANTIAGO TRADING CORPORATION which acquired the sole authority to build CHERY dealership network in the Philippines in 2014. Previously, Ms. Barquin was successful in growing its Automotive Aftersales Distribution Company, having served prominent local fleets such as SM Department Store, UNILAB and other fleets with complete automotive supplies. Ms. Barquin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications in the University of the Philippines major in Journalism. She was engaged in Brand Development in major Advertising Companies in the Philippines prior to venturing into automotive supply distribution.

He is the Managing Partner of Carbonell Legal Associates Network, an affiliate of Lordsbridge, which specializes in Corporate Law and Wealth Management for various local and international corporations. Atty. Carbonell is equally a seasoned entrepreneur, extensively involved in Construction and Mining activities in the Philippines. Atty. Carbonell is the Chairman for ASK Mining and Exploration Corp., an energy exploration company owning a service contract for coal in Surigao, EDWARAJO Construction Corp, YZ Mining Corportaion and Sterling Link Mining Corporation. He also sits in the board and holds Chief Legal Counsel Position with Zenith Air Corporation, First Pinnacle Inc., Cennozoil, and Superior Shipyard.
CARLO MONTECILLO
SENIOR GEOLOGIST
He graduated from Mapua Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Geology. Carlo has been a Geologist for more than 17 years and has relevant experience in mineral exploration and geo-hazard. He has worked with the biggest gold producing mining company in the Philippines, Philex Mining Corporation. He was also a Senior Geologist in the government owned National Power Corporation as a team leader conducting geological investigation with geo hazard assessment in the construction of power substations, transmission lines and dams. His most recent experience in the mining industry is doing assessment and exploration works of mineral properties.
